Is there another feature you'd like to see in it? I think this package is bad news. If the Color Picker doesn't get an input color, it serves a completely random color. By default, the tool works on the active layer, but the Sample Merge option lets you grab the color as it is in the image, resulting of the combination of all layers. There are some other options that you can pass to your Color Picker instance, such as the other submodules.
